MISSION▪X SUMMARY Taylor Loyd | Site: Broadway Blog
Though I was a bit stuck and behind pace at the beginning, I’ve accomplished quite a bit with my Mission X project. So far, I’ve posted 110 things, and my anthology of quotes is my favorite part. I’ve gained a few followers, and I’ve been re-blogged several times.
At the beginning, I basically wanted to post one huge long blog post every day. That clearly didn’t work out so well. I did end up posting quite a few of those long posts, but for the most part, I found quotes that spoke to me in a certain way and posted many of those.
I did find, however, that being passionate and committed to something is much different than being passionate and committed. I love Broadway and I always have, but I encountered something that pissed me off. Many writers love to write with everything in their being, but they still get writer’s block. I now understand how the one thing you love most can make you the angriest. Writer’s block is one of the most intellectually frustrating things one can endure. Not only was I bored and unable to produce any posts, I was straight-up angry. Not to mention, I was falling behind.
Being the person I am, a problem-solver, I decided to mix it up a bit. Combining my love of quotes and Broadway, I decided to post *wait for it* Broadway quotes. They’re funny, heartfelt, and entertaining. I’m glad I was able to grow as a learner in this way and problem-solve, because I know it’ll come in handy later.

Find something that intrigues you as a learner. Then find something that intrigues you as a teenager and a person outside of a project.
