MISSION▪X SUMMARY Carly Bromstead
As I started this project, I did about six to seven surveys. I got lots of positive quotes for people, made cookies, made a high-school bucket list, and was one of the two actresses in Emma’s music video.
The quotes were my first idea, and the idea evolved into combining those quotes onto cookies. This idea was good for a while and was going really well until I ran into some problems with actually making the cookies.
I started doing surveys with simple to complex questions. Then I started writing the high-school bucket list. This took me a little bit more time to write because it was a bit more detailed than the previous projects I was working on. In between all of these projects, both Leila and I acted in Emma’s music video, which was awesome but took up a lot of time. I worked on the quotes and surveys at school while I made the cookies outside school. The high-school bucket list was made both in and outside of school. The cookies are imprinted with some of the best quotes and answers to my surveys.
In Emma’s music video, Leila and I were dancers. It was a serious video about serious problems, such as anorexia and bulimia. We still managed to have tons of fun with the video. That shows in the bloopers. We spent lots of time and effort in this video, and it turned out really well, in my opinion.
All in all, I had lots of fun working on every project I tried during Mission X.
