MISSION▪X SUMMARY Connors Anderson | My Thinkz
For my Mission X, I started off with an idea given to me by one of my friends. My friend learned how to speak gibberish, the type that follows a pattern. If you learn the pattern, you can actually understand it. I made a tutorial video that teaches anyone and everyone how to speak gibberish fluently. I also made a box that had the word in gibberish and then the word translated. I soon grew tired of this project, so I disregarded it after realizing that it wasn’t going anywhere.
I started a new project called My Thinkz. My Thinkz is all about what I think about. I made about 20 entries, then I decided to take my project a step further and make My Thinkz into a blog.
Creating my blog was a lot of fun. I got to work on my grammar, but I also got to give my posts a voice, by speaking in the way I wanted to.
This project is one of my favorites that we did this whole year because we all got to put our passion to work. My passion is making new ideas, writing songs, and speaking out about things I agree with or don’t agree with. This project also helped me get in touch with the outside world. It let me see the social injustices throughout the world. Although this project gave us all a lot of freedom to do what we want, we still had to use our proper grammar, and Mr. B. would always help us with that. Mission X was my favorite project this year. It managed to top all of the other projects in the other classes.

When you’re writing, don’t force yourself to think of something creative. You’ll think of it when you’re not suspecting it.
